Bailee received this award for her piano exams level 2 (fall 2017) and level 3 (spring 2018).
Greyson received this award for his piano exam level 4 (summer 2018).
The Center Certificate of Excellence is awarded to students who achieved the highest mark in their examination center in each level and discipline.

Southwestern Youth Music Festival July 2018

Dylan Huang adds another award to his list: Second Prize in the “Piano Open Baroque Category” (Age 8 or under) at the Southwestern Youth Music Festival held at CSULB. Open categories are designed for superior students. Great accomplishment, especially for being again the youngest in the group of winners. Congratulations!

"Golden Classical Music Awards" International Competition, New York 2018

Dylan Huang, 7-year-old student of Herbert Waltl, has been chosen as a FIRST PRIZE Winner of the 2018 "Golden Classical Music Awards" International Competition, New York. This is the second time Dylan received this award; and the second time he has been selected to perform in the Winners’ Recital at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York this fall. Congratulations!

7-year-old Dylan Huang competed in the Steinway Competition (5/5/18; Div. I - Ages 9 and under) in San Marcos against more than 90 contestants from all over California and won third place! Huge success! Congratulations!

Great Composers International Music Competition 2018

Huge Congratulations to MAYUKO NAGATA and DYLAN HUANG on their amazing results at the Great Composers International Music Competition.
Both of Herbert Waltl’s students made it to the final round in “The Music of Austria & Germany” division. Dylan won first prize in the age category 5-7! Mayuko won second prize in the age category 17-19!
